Hi,
The client is still running but with very small requests/second displayed on the shell. Because of polysrv has been stop, I wait for a while, then Ctrl-C to close polyctl as well.
There is a crossed cable between two servers (connecting eth1 to eth1). On Cache Server, I install IPTables to change request from port 80 to port 3128, configured IPTables with following commands:
#iptables â~H~Rt nat â~H~RA PREROUTING â~H~Ri eth0 â~H~Rp tcp â~H~Râ~H~Rdport 80 â~H~Rj REDIRECT â~H~Râ~H~Rtoâ~H~Rport 3128
#iptables â~H~Rt nat â~H~RA PREROUTING â~H~Ri eth1 â~H~Rp tcp â~H~Râ~H~Rdport 80 â~H~Rj REDIRECT â~H~Râ~H~Rtoâ~H~Rport 3128
But for this test, I point to proxy at port 3128, this port is opened, so that I think IPTables should not interleave.
eth0 of both server has public IP address and I used this interface to sync clock with Redhat clock server by executing:
# ntpdate -q clock2.redhat.com
I have another question. Have anyone ever used Polygraph to test throughput of Cisco Content Engine 590? and if yes, what is the result? Cisco didn't participate Fourth TMF Cache-Off .!?
Best Regards

Does the client complete successfully?
Is the clocks on client and server syncronised?
Any firewalling, locally on client/server or inbetween?

Henrik
