unable to compile polygraph on solaris

Dear List

i am unable to compile polygraph on solaris 9 ultra sparc Platform with gcc 3.3
it successfully installed on linux

i am getting the following error in config.log

l conftest.cc -lncurses -lm -lsocket -lnsl 1>&5
ld: fatal: library -lncurses: not found
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to conftest
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
configure: failed program was:

#include "confdefs.h"

i didnt change any configure or Makefile
