Most likely a network configuration error. After the server starts,
can you ping server addresses? Can you ping server addresses from a
robot address (you may have to start a client or create a client
address manually)? Can you telnet to a server port from robot
addresses?

N.B. Ping and telnet have options to specify _source_ address (-s and
-S on FreeBSD, IIRC).
