Proxy agents are controlled by the Proxy PGL type just like
Robot and Server agents are controlled by Robot and Server PGL type.
The Proxy type is documented at
 http://www.web-polygraph.org/docs/reference/pgl/types.html#type:docs/reference/pgl/types/Proxy

Also see "workloads/test_polypxy.pg" file distributed with Polygraph.
It contains a simple PGL configuration using a Proxy agent. It used to
work.

I have to warn you that, to the best of my knowledge, nobody has been
using proxy agents for quite a while now. Thus, I am sure there are
many bugs and limitations in that code. With every release, we just
made sure that the proxy code compiles and makes overall sense, but
without real users, we had little incentive to work on it. Depending
on your needs and budget, you may be better off using a stable proxy;
there are a few free ones available (Squid, DeleGate, Apache
mod_proxy, RabbIT, etc.).

Good luck,

Alex.
