That is probably not sufficient. Our patches do more than just change
MSL and port range.

You are starving your OS out of some resource(s). It is difficult for
me to say exactly what it lacks based on the above output, but
increasing the number of mbufs is probably a good idea. Frankly, I
would not waste time experimenting and use FreeBSD kernel that
Measurement Factory provides ( or build one using our instructions).

It is possible. However, you need to make sure that Polygraph itself
(or the OS,etc.) does not become a bottleneck. Running a no-proxy
test like you are doing is the right way to test this precondition.
