The soft registration deadline for the fourth cache-off is
September 12th. If you are considering participating in this year
competition, please make sure that we know about your intentions and
that you are registered in time!
We need the following registration info to finalize logistics details:
1. number of entries you are bringing
2. approximate PolyMix and WebAxe request rates for each
3. auto-generated PolyMix and WebAxe reports for each
4. any complaints/questions about the workloads or rules
5. any special accommodation requirements
Compaq has been hosting the last two cache-offs, thanks to Henry
Guillen efforts. No vendor has offered to host this one yet. If we
receive no better offers, we may end up booking space in Denver,
Colorado area. If nothing else, it would make shipping and travel
costs about the same for all domestic (and all international)
participants.
We have already received several questions about the payment
procedure. The pricing and payment information is now available at
