port range for polymix3 test

Hi,

I have a question about a proper port range for polymix 3 testing.

on the website, http://www.measurement-factory.com/docs/FreeBSD, it says
the following line.

% sysctl net.inet.ip.portrange.last
net.inet.ip.portrange.last : 40000
------------------

When I run my polymix client, I run with an option '--ports 3000:30000'.
(this was for testing with 550 req/sec).

Is the above option likely to cause problem for my testing? What is the
default ports setting if the 'ports' option is not set?

Do you think I should run the test with '--ports 3000:40000' instead?
