Hi there,
The time to settle on firm cache-off deadlines is approaching.
As you know, the original deadlines were based on Oct 8 cache-off
date. During the meeting, the date got moved to October 29 to avoid
conflict with Jewish holidays.
We can simply move all deadlines back a few weeks to
accommodate for the October 29 change. However, our recent experience
with switch-off deadlines makes us worry that most vendors will not
have any money to pay for the tests in October. On the other hand, TMF
needs money to prepare for the event.
We would like to gather vendor opinions that would help us
with scheduling. Specifically,
- will delaying the cache-off beyond October 29 significantly
increase the chances that your company will participate?
- would your company be willing to soft-register (which
includes a small but nonrefundable deposit) by the end of
September even if the cache-off has been delayed?
Any general feedback is also appreciated, as always.
These scheduling issues are pretty important for us. I would
appreciate a prompt response from all potential participants. Please
do not wait for us to contact you personally...
Thank you,
Alex.
