About two weeks ago, TMF held organizational meetings for the
upcoming cache-off and switch-off competitions. Meeting minutes are
now available on the Web.

Several important issues were discussed at the meetings. For example,
we are likely to add Web accelerator (reverse caching proxy) tests to
future cache-offs. Also, the switch-off competition will include both
L4 and L7 tests.
While we were able to reach consensus on most of the issues, the
discussion is not closed! We need your input on the workload designs
and competition rules. Several problems such as price/performance
reporting at cache-offs and DSR mode at switch-off need to be
re-evaluated. Please share your thoughts on this list or in private.
