Same error can be caused by slow proxy or a misconfigured network. As
a rule of thumb, you will need to tune yor OS to have
2 * peak_request_rate * mean_response_time
file descriptors. Do not forget to "make distclean" and rebuild
Polygraph after you make kernel-level changes.
Installing FreeBSD using TMF image/instructions will give you a
correctly tuned OS, but you can also tune any decent OS (it's just
that you have to do it on your own). There are many things other than
number of file descriptors that need tuning. For example, see the
"Tips" page on Polygraph Web site.
Unsupported http status code errors are due to proxy replying with
some thing other than "200 OK" or "304 Not Modified". Use "--dump
errs" in polyclt to see details.
