That error (too many open file) is caused by lack of file descriptor.
You can avoid that situation by increasing maxfd by sysctl call or modifying your kernel.

It may imply that your polygraph results is not valid. (because misconfiguration)

'unsupported http status' error can be caused by above reason or cache malfunctioning.

I forgot whether Freebsd-3.4.TMF.iso, which is FreeBSD ISO image released by Polygraph team,
includes all patches and configurations needed by valid polygraph test or not.
I suggest you to re-run your test with new polysrv and polygraph installed with Freebsd-3.4.TMF.iso.
And refer http://www.measurement-factory.com/docs/FreeBSD/

p.s. Hi, Alex and Duane.
I'm curious when next cache-off begins,,, and when next polygraph version comes out.

  Subject: Question about error codes

Hi Polygraph, we are now testing the Polygraph(ver 2.5.4) on free BSD ver 3.4.
After configuring it and testing, Polygraph Server and Clients shows error codes : "too many open files" and "unsupported http status".

I'd like to know waht makes these error messages and how can I fix it?

  Thanks,
  Kangyeul (Kevin) Yoo
