Problems with my proxy

Hello,

I am writing my own proxy and have just finished a proto type which seemed
to work correctly (tested by just randomly browsing) and want to test it
with Polygraph, however I keep getting "foreign http reply" errors. This
always occurs when the proxy is sending data from its cache to the client,
uncached and uncacheable data works ok. I'm pretty certain the error is
somewhere in my proxy but I can't seem to locate it. Does any one know what
could be wrong? Are there any obvious pitfalls when programming a proxy? And
does any one know a good site with design guidelines for proxies? (The only
source I could find was RFC2616 and AFAIK I have followed the guidelines
therein correctly)

FYI here's a complete error message:

000.58| ./CltXact.cc:338: error: 1/2 (257) foreign HTTP reply
986309673.347506# obj:
http://10.10.11.4/w046899b7.1e261f8c:00000004/t01/_00000001 xact:

HTTP/1.0 200 OK

X-Srv-Sets: 2:-1.1
X-Phase-Sync-Pos: 0

after that the packet body is shown, but I don't think this is relevant to
the problem.

With kind regards,

Peter Backx
