0.57 req/sec is too low, IMO. Ideally, you want to find sustained peak
rate and use that rate for the tests. I suspect that Apache can do at
_least_ 10 req/sec. I do not know what workload you were using. I would
recommend using PolyMix-2 and following the bake-off instructions:

A "boiling frog" approach discussed on this list some time ago may be
useful in finding sustained peak rates:
