polyclt port and the proxy parameter

When I add the --proxy 10.0.0.1:8080 to the polyclt command line and view
the output of the --dump hdr option I notice that the URL's being requested
are of the form
http://10.0.129.1:-1/w02........ http/1.0

Why is the port specified as -1 ?

Any ideas?
