Felix,
It looks like your client box cannot sustain high request rates
(~1000 req/sec) that polyclt is generating in best-effort mode in your
environment. You can use constant request rate workloads (see req_rate
field of PGL Robot type) with lower request rates. Alternatively, you
may want to tune your OS for high loads. You can find some specific
tuning tips for FreeBSD at
