I am currently working on a project to find a cache solution for streaming
video that will also cache all port 80 traffic. I have tested two vendor
products lately and both seem to have a problem caching .ASF files. I think
this is due to honoring the pragma:no-cache HTTP header that is returned
with each request for a HTTP based stream.
Is there native WMS method of removing this header from the response. Is
there a cache product out there that is available that can handle streaming
media (.ASF format ) and port 80 traffic. Any information in this area would
be helpful.
