good news, bad news...
The good news is that dummynet with FreeBSD 3.3 seems to be more stable
than we thought it was.
The bad news is that the variation in response time has been identified
as a Polygraph bug. It appears that poly's mean object size is
changing significantly over time. Alex is gone until Monday, so there
won't be a fix until then. Meanwhile we are running more dummynet
tests with a quick hack to have a consistent mean object size.
