We have a reverse proxy (Web accelerator) workload under construction at
http://polygraph.ircache.net/Workloads/WebAxe-1/
Comments are very welcome. Note that WebAxe-1 requires phase-dependent
hit ratio, a feature not yet supported by Polygraph. If you are
interested in using WebAxe-1, please let us know and we will try to
implement that feature in 2.2.5, to be released this week.

It probably depends on your setup. Ideally, you do not want to use the
--proxy option because real clients should not be aware of the reverse
proxy presence. Things like persistent connections pool will behave
differently depending on whether you use --proxy or not. However, for
initial tests, to simplify your network configuration, you may want to
use --proxy.
