Getting simple.pg to run?

Hi there,

I just downloaded Polygraph 2.2.4 and am trying to set it up.
Everything compiled fine, but I can't seem to get the 'Hello,
World!' test to run properly. I have used Polygraph 1.3.1
extensively with few problems.

Here are the symptoms.

The server and client were both started with the options

<program> --config workloads/simple.pg --verb_lvl 5

I am running on i386-based Solaris:
% uname -a
SunOS testbox 5.7 Generic i86pc i386 i86pc

The server seems to start fine, and I get the initial status
lines:

<...>
000.00| run-id: 01cb3926.2812122e:00000004 pid: 4654
000.00| current time: 942441332.299690 or Fri, 12 Nov 1999 21:15:32 GMT
000.00| configuring agents and waiting for traffic
000.00| fyi: current state (1) stored
000.00| agent[1] `S101' starting on 127.0.0.1:8080
000.09| i-dflt 0 0.00 -1 -1.00 0 1
000.17| i-dflt 0 0.00 -1 -1.00 0 1
000.25| i-dflt 0 0.00 -1 -1.00 0 1

Then I start the client, but it looks like it is not
making any connections:

<...>
000.00| current time: 942441395.683552 or Fri, 12 Nov 1999 21:16:35 GMT
000.00| configuring agents and waiting for traffic
000.00| fyi: current state (1) stored
000.00| agent[1] `R101' starting on 127.0.0.1
000.09| i-dflt 0 0.00 -1 -1.00 0 1
000.17| i-dflt 0 0.00 -1 -1.00 0 1
000.25| i-dflt 0 0.00 -1 -1.00 0 1
000.34| i-dflt 0 0.00 -1 -1.00 0 1
000.42| i-dflt 0 0.00 -1 -1.00 0 1

And this continues on as if there are no connections being
made. Meanwhile the server output has stopped, as if it has
begun to process input. Something is happening (:) since if
I kill the server, the client reports a rash of connection
refused's and then goes back to the same outputs:

<kill server...>

Any help is appreciated,
myke
